Senior Advisor & Global Architect of Mind-Body Integration
Leora Gaster is internationally recognized for developing practical applications that integrate neuroscience, movement, and human performance through more than five decades of research and practice. She worked closely with Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais and was personally qualified by him to teach and train others in the method. Leora holds a degree in Human Biology from Stanford University, with a focus on the connection between the brain and behavior. In 1987, she co-founded the Mind Body Studies (MBS) Academy and created an interdisciplinary approach combining biomechanics, psychology, neuroscience, Feldenkrais work, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming to help individuals unlock their performance potential. She has trained practitioners worldwide and works with athletes, performing artists, and individuals with special needs, while continuing to develop new training programs and serving on the Advisory Board of USC’s Peer-Mental Health Initiative.

Melissa is a dedicated Mind-Body Studies Practitioner who brings a multifaceted approach to holistic wellness. With a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, she anchors her therapeutic work in meditation, further supported by a rich tapestry of movement-based practices including Somatic Movement Therapy, Aquatic Integration, Qigong, and Gyrotonic. As a key contributor to our Quick Tune-ins, Melissa’s expertise shapes our content, while her smooth, grounding voice guides listeners through every instruction with clarity and ease.
Innovation Advisor
Leon Segal holds a PhD in Cognitive Psychology. He founded Innovationship in 2012 after over thirty years in human factors, product innovation, experience design, and executive coaching. He is a pilot, musician, and expert on expansive states of consciousness. His work on empathy and design, and his insight that “innovation begins with an eye,” are cited in several bestselling books. He has practiced and taught at leading institutions, founded and led a studio for global innovation company IDEO, and coached and mentored executives and entrepreneurs around the world. His unique life experiences across domains, industries, and cultures, combined with his hands-on style of teaching and mentoring, provide his clients with opportunities to explore, learn, and integrate new perspectives on the art of personal and professional innovation.
Mind-Body Studies Expert
Margit Hrasdil is a neuromotor development expert, sports scientist, and Mind Body Studies Senior Trainer, with more than 30 years of experience. She holds a degree in Sports Science, specializing in supporting neuromotor and cognitive development with a focus on neuro-motor integration. Her professional background includes 20 years of interdisciplinary seminars for physiotherapists, music teachers, and educators, helping them optimize physical and cognitive learning potential. She is a contributor to Newrotune, applying her expertise in developing targeted content.
Mind-Body Studies Expert
Tom Rankin is a certified Mind Body Studies Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Specialist. With over a decade of experience teaching specialized classes for Stanford University’s Health Improvement Program, he leverages his deep expertise in MBS to help individuals overcome pain and reach peak physical performance. Apart from collaborating with our team on creating the Quick Tune-ins, he’s also mentoring the next generation of Feldenkrais practitioners.
